From its inception, in 1994, CD Fundosa ONCE has been extremely successful. It proudly exhibits 9 Premier Leagues and 7 King’s Cups, but Europe’s Cup won the 4th of May, 1997, in Sheffield, UK, is the top one. This was the first time ever a Spanish team achieved the highest continental championship in this sport.
Besides Europe’s Cup, CD Fundosa ONCE, was 1996 second runner up in Madrid, same as in Battipaglia (Italy) in 1998 and in Manchester (United Kingdom), in 2003, and ranked third three times: 1995, in Salzburgo (Austria); 1999, in Oldham (United Kingdom), and 2004, in Madrid.
Due to its international track record, CD Fundosa ONCE stands 4th in the European Ranking of Wheelchair Basketball Clubs.
